A Trusted Part of the Community for Over 40 Years

For more than 40 years, our family-owned kindergarten has been a place where children grow, friendships begin, and families feel truly connected. Today, we are incredibly proud to welcome back second-generation families - parents who once walked through our doors as children and now choose to enrol their own children.

That kind of trust doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from decades of nurturing care, meaningful relationships, and a learning environment where every child is valued and encouraged to shine.

When families return to us years later, it’s the greatest compliment we could ever receive - and a beautiful reminder that what we create here lasts far beyond the early years.

Nurturing, Highly Qualified Educators

Our passionate team of Primary School and Early Childhood trained teachers combines professional expertise with genuine care. With warmth, patience, and deep educational knowledge, they take the time to truly know each child, building strong relationships that help children feel safe, valued and supported. Under the guidance of our Director and Educational Leader, our teachers continually engage in professional development, ensuring their practice aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and is closely aligned with primary school education.

By nurturing confidence, curiosity and independence, our educators create a welcoming environment where every child is encouraged to grow, explore and develop a lifelong love of learning at their own pace.

Each Child’s Personalised Educational Programme

At The Seaforth Kindergarten, we celebrate every child’s unique learning light - the moment curiosity sparks and confidence grows. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we nurture the whole child -socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively, fostering a strong sense of belonging, being and becoming.

Our dedicated educators, supported by our Educational Leader, provide tailored one-on-one sessions in numeracy, literacy and phonics, alongside group learning that builds collaboration, creativity and problem-solving skills. Families stay connected through regular updates, newsletters, developmental summaries and parent-teacher interviews. We support smooth transitions to school through strong school partnerships. In our safe, inclusive space, children explore, create, and grow - feeling valued and ready to shine. It’s our focus on each child and our close partnerships with families that set us apart.

Strong School Readiness Foundations

At The Seaforth Kindergarten, we help your child develop the confidence, independence and skills they need to thrive at school. Through play-based learning, children build early literacy and numeracy skills, learn routines, participate in group activities and form friendships. Most importantly, they gain the confidence to speak up, make choices and express themselves.

We work closely with local primary schools to ensure a smooth, supported transition, so that your child starts school feeling prepared, capable and excited for this next chapter.

Commitment to Child Safety and Wellbeing

At The Seaforth Kindergarten, your child’s safety, wellbeing and happiness are our highest priorities. We are aligned with and continually keep up to date with the NSW Child Safe Standards, which provide a framework for creating child-safe organisations. These standards guide us in fostering a culture where children are respected, valued and empowered, and where any concerns are responsibly addressed. By embedding these practices into everything we do, we ensure a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for every child to thrive.

Preschool with CCS subsidy Seaforth

Approved Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

We are a CCS-approved early childhood service, supporting families to access subsidised care in line with the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Eligible families may receive financial assistance to help reduce the cost of care. The level of subsidy is determined by factors such as family income, activity levels, and the number of hours of care used.

The CCS is a payment made to families, which is paid directly to our service on their behalf to reduce out-of-pocket fees. This supports families to access professional, safe, and engaging early learning while managing household budgets, supporting children’s development, and enabling parents to work, study.
